Amazon Teamsters to Strike at DJT6, the Company's Largest U.S. Warehouse

Amazon (AMZN) Teamsters at the DJT6 facility in Riverside, California — described as Amazon's largest warehouse facility in the United States — will launch a one-day unfair labor practice (ULP) strike on Wednesday, Sept. 2. Workers plan to walk off the job to protest what the union calls Amazon's illegal conduct against workers demanding safer working conditions and better wages.

Amazon workers organized with Teamsters Local 1932 in 2025. According to the union, Amazon has since ignored federal labor law by refusing to recognize the Teamsters as the workers' bargaining representative and has illegally retaliated against workers for exercising their rights.

The union says the strike marks the first time Teamsters on both primary shifts at the DJT6 facility have engaged in a coordinated action, aiming to bring one of Amazon's key nationwide hubs to a 24-hour stop. Participants are expected to include Amazon warehouse workers, rank-and-file Teamsters, and leaders of Teamsters Local 1932.
