The software maker advanced toward $228 after an earlier pullback.
Autodesk shares gained 7.78% on 14 September, climbing to an intraday high of $227.93 before changing hands at $228.30 by mid-day. The stock had closed at $212.40 on 11 September. Mid-day trading volume reached 975,474 shares, down 58% from its average daily volume of 2,310,643 shares.
The advance follows an eight-day losing streak that ended on 10 September. During that retreat, the stock fell 23.6%, shedding $13.0 billion in market capitalization. Over the trailing 52 weeks, the equity has moved between a low of $185.50 and a high of $326.71.
The rebound builds on second-quarter fiscal 2027 results reported on 27 August. Net revenue increased 16.1% year-over-year to $2.05 billion, ahead of Wall Street consensus expectations of $2.01 billion. Recurring revenue represented 97% of the total at $1.99 billion. Non-GAAP diluted earnings per share reached $3.30, compared with $2.62 in the prior-year quarter and above the consensus estimate of $3.12.
For the full fiscal year 2027, the company expects net revenue between $8.3 billion and $8.4 billion, alongside adjusted diluted earnings per share of $12.52 to $12.60. Autodesk also completed a $1.0 billion senior notes offering on 10 September, which included a $500 million five-year tranche carrying an annual interest coupon rate of 5.050%.
