Banco Macro launches revamped mobile banking app

Banco Macro announced the launch of its renewed mobile banking application for smartphones and tablets on 9 September 2026. The new tool is available for download in the Apple Store for iPhone users and in the Play Store for devices running Android.

The lender stated that the platform allows customers to carry out inquiries and transactions 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Users can track credit and debit card expenses grouped by category, monitor bank accounts, check interest rates, set up fixed-term deposits, and execute immediate transfers. The app also supports paying credit cards, taxes, utility bills, and loan installments, as well as applying for instant personal loans.

The application adds features to configure alerts for minimum balances and upcoming loan or card maturities. It also maps nearby branches, automated teller machines, commercial benefits, and locations offering the fee-free Extra Cash debit withdrawal service.

Clients must generate an initial mobile banking password at Red Banelco automated teller machines between Monday and Friday from 7:00 to 20:00. Users then establish their definitive password directly inside the app to activate the service.
