The bank added automated tax transition and dollar cost averaging features for clients.
Bank of America introduced two new client services through its wealth management unit Merrill on 15 September 2026. The new tools focus on managing portfolio transitions and systematic cash investing.
The Tax Efficient Transition Service assists clients in shifting existing holdings into Merrill strategies while limiting tax implications. Alongside it, the Dollar Cost Averaging Service automates scheduled investments of idle cash into client portfolios.
Bank of America operates as a 438.4 billion dollar banking group. It uses Merrill to connect individual and institutional investors to managed portfolios and advisory accounts.
The launch aims to expand digital engagement, support fee-based revenue per household, and enhance client retention across its wealth management business.
