Cisco Systems launched version 1.0 of Cisco AI POD for Splunk on Monday, 14 September. The product allows corporate clients to run Splunk AI features directly within their own technology infrastructure.
The bundled offering operates on Red Hat OpenShift. It combines Cisco computing hardware, Nvidia GPU acceleration, and Splunk software. Clients can use tools such as AI Assistant and AI Toolkit while retaining operational control of the OpenShift environment.
Shares of Cisco traded down about 1.5% to $110.395 following the news. Research platform GuruFocus listed a GF Value estimate of $74.40 for the company, placing the latest market price 48.38% above that calculation.
