Annie's SUPER! Mac Dill Pickle and Macaroni & Grilled Cheese add fresh exposure to protein-focused comfort meals as the stock climbs off its lows.

Mentioned
General Mills (GIS) is expanding its Annie's lineup with two new products, SUPER! Mac Dill Pickle and Macaroni & Grilled Cheese, giving the company fresh exposure to protein-focused, comfort-driven packaged meals — a category shift that can matter for how investors view the stock.
The launches come as General Mills shares have recovered ground. The stock has risen 15.24% over the past month and 24.58% over the past 90 days. Even so, it remains below where it started the year, and total shareholder returns over the past one, three and five years are all negative.
General Mills plans a sizable step-up in investment for fiscal 2026, including at least 5% through its Holistic Margin Management (HMM) program and $100 million in additional cost savings. Reinvesting those savings into pricing, innovation, in-store activity and media could delay improvements in net margins and overall earnings in the short term. If the company instead converts savings and brand spending into stronger margins, or if demand in key categories stabilises faster, that cautious view could change.
