The technology services provider expands its Latin American presence with a new office in Lima.
Globant announced on 9 September that it is opening a new development center in Lima, Peru. The technology services company aims to strengthen its presence across Latin America, decentralize regional opportunities, and enhance its services.
The new facility is located at Javier Prado Oeste 881, in the Magdalena del Mar district of Lima. This site joins Globant's 25 existing development centers located across cities in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Colombia, and the United States.
Globant Chief of Staff and co-founder Martín Umaran stated that the company chose Peru because of its strong growth in recent years, noting that Lima has become a major regional business hub. He added that the country offers a rising number of highly trained professionals, which supports Globant's goal of becoming a global benchmark in software product development.
Globant CEO and co-founder Martín Migoya emphasized that opening offices in Peru helps the company expand globally in search of top talent. He noted that the new center shows world-class software products can be built with global teams regardless of geography.
