The credit agency reiterated its top national score with a stable outlook.
Taesa maintained its national credit rating of "AAA.br" at Moody's Local Brasil on 14 September 2026. The rating agency also kept its outlook on the Brazilian electricity transmission company unchanged at stable.
Analysts led by Maria Claudia Komamura stated that the rating reflects the strong business profile of Taesa. That strength is supported by highly predictable cash flows from power transmission assets, broad geographic diversification, and a consistent operational track record. The evaluation also factors in an adequate liquidity position and an elongated maturity profile for its financial obligations.
Moody's Local noted that a recent acquisition of transmission assets helped extend the duration of Taesa's regulated cash flows and improved its long-term visibility. However, the agency highlighted that additional debt taken on to fund the deal temporarily pressures leverage metrics, interest coverage, and cash generation relative to debt.
The stable outlook reflects expectations that Taesa will continue to deliver strong operational generation and maintain solid access to capital markets while integrating the newly acquired assets.
