UBS Group AG (NYSE: UBS) has recruited a wealth management team from Bernstein Private Wealth Management to its Los Angeles office, the Swiss bank and brokerage said on August 31, 2026. The team oversees $1.4 billion in client assets and generates $11.5 million in annual production.
Four financial advisors made the move to UBS's Century City office in Los Angeles, which employs 225 people. They include Pasha Azad, who spent 15 years at Bernstein, Dayne Crist, with 11 years there, Steven Summerhays, with 7 years, and Koby Dardashti, with 5 years.
The bank also announced new wealth management leadership roles in the Southern U.S. as part of the same update.
The hire follows other recent recruiting for the firm's Americas unit. In July 2026, UBS added a Tampa-based team from Bank of America Private Bank managing $1.3 billion in assets. The bank reported $5.3 billion in Americas business client inflows in the first quarter of 2026, and cites total invested assets of $5.5 trillion in its company boilerplate.
No signing bonus, forgivable-loan figure or other financial terms of the advisors' move were disclosed in the announcement.
