Customers can now send funds to 12 countries directly from the Wells Fargo Mobile app.
Wells Fargo announced the nationwide launch of ExpressSend Mobile on 14 September 2026. The rollout integrates the bank's international money transfer service directly into the Wells Fargo Mobile app, allowing users to send funds abroad from their phones.
The mobile remittance feature supports money transfers from the United States to 12 countries. Those destinations include Mexico, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, India, the Philippines, and Vietnam. Customers can deliver funds directly to bank accounts or cash pickup locations in these markets.
The feature allows users to track transfers in real time, add recipients, and preview exchange rates and transfer fees before completion. Wells Fargo is offering a transfer fee waiver on each customer's first ExpressSend transaction.
The company noted that it holds approximately $2.3 trillion in assets and ranked No. 38 on Fortune's 2026 list of the largest corporations in the United States.
