Yieh Phui Enterprise Co., Ltd., along with its subsidiaries, operates as a diversified industrial group with a global footprint, primarily focused on the steel sector. Its core activities involve the processing, manufacturing, marketing, and international trade (import and export) of a wide array of steel products across Taiwan, the broader Asian market, the United States, and Europe. The company's extensive product portfolio includes specialized steel coils such as pickled, as-cold-rolled, hot-dip zinc-coated, hot-dip aluminum-zinc-coated, and pre-painted varieties. They also supply general steel structures and various types of crane equipment. Beyond manufacturing, Yieh Phui provides significant engineering and installation services, notably for steel structures used in buildings, industrial plants, and bridges. Furthermore, they design, manufacture, and install container cranes, including EOT, gantry, and rail-mounted gantry systems. Venturing beyond its steel-centric operations, Yieh Phui maintains a broad spectrum of additional business interests. These encompass the development, leasing, and sale of residential and commercial real estate, including department stores. The company is also involved in the production and distribution of military specification printed circuit boards and specialized high-grade alloys. Its wholesale division handles hardware, telecommunications equipment, and daily necessities. Other services include technical consultancy for steel products, management services, general metal manufacturing, and nickel mining. The group even extends its reach into the hospitality sector, operating hotels and managing radio broadcasting services. Originally founded in 1978 under the name Kuo Chiao Enterprise Co., Ltd., the company officially adopted its current identity, Yieh Phui Enterprise Co., Ltd., in March 1986. Its headquarters are located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

A stock is a fraction of ownership in a real company. Buy one share and you own a piece (usually a tiny piece) of every desk, factory, contract and brand the company runs. The price moves because the market keeps revising what that whole pie is worth.
The price-to-earnings ratio is how much investors are paying for one dollar of a company's profit. A multiple, never an absolute. Always compared to something: a sector, a region, the company's own past.
Dividend yield is the annual income a stock or ETF pays out, expressed as a percentage of what you paid for it. It is the visible part of total return: the cash that lands in your account every quarter, and the lever most retail investors actually feel.
Market cap is shares times price. A simple formula that produces wildly unequal numbers: a single US tech name can be worth more than every company on a LATAM exchange combined.
