Complementing these are their functional additives and specialty chemicals, featuring products such as white/buff and colored rutile TiO2, white pigment opacifiers, synthetic barium sulphate, micronized wax, anti-blocking agents, rheological modifiers, matting agents, inorganic thickeners, flame retardants, calcium oxide desiccants, rubber activators, high aspect ratio talc, sub-micron CaCO3, decorative colored quartz sand, processing aids like erucamide and oleamide, and various forms of silica (fumed, precipitated, and amorphous). These diverse materials are integral to numerous industries, spanning paints and coatings, inks and pigments, plastics and polymers, paper, rubber, cosmetics, ceramics, adhesives and sealants, oil-well drilling, agrochemicals, and foundry operations.
