The company delivers a wide array of financial products and services through its five core segments: Banking, Life Insurance, Property Insurance, Securities, and a comprehensive 'Other' category. Within its Banking segment, Cathay provides conventional banking solutions, foreign exchange transactions, guarantees, foreign exchange investment advice, trust services, and international financial offerings. Its Life Insurance division offers various annuity products, including traditional, investment-linked, and interest-rate variable options, alongside life insurance, financial planning, and policy lending services. The Property Insurance arm handles a broad spectrum of coverage, such as fire, marine, land and air transport, liability, and guarantee insurance, coupled with reinsurance services. Through its Securities segment, Cathay engages in brokerage, proprietary trading, underwriting, and security financing, also developing financial products and conducting commodity research.
