The automotive segment focuses on the manufacturing, sale, and distribution of passenger and light commercial vehicles and their spare parts. It also imports and distributes motor vehicles and provides vehicle rental services. General investment activities also form part of the company's broader business. Its logistics arm delivers port and warehousing services, complemented by tugboat piloting, container handling, property management, and childcare facilities. Sime Darby also develops and manages logistics parks. In healthcare, the company operates hospitals. Other services include insurance and reinsurance brokerage, advisory services, the distribution of Trimble technical solutions, and comprehensive engineering, procurement, construction, installation, hook-up, and commissioning (EPCIC) services tailored for the oil and gas industry.
