The company offers optical glass products for polished lenses and molded aspherical lenses; glass-ceramic products under the CLEARCERAM-Z, WMS-15, and NANOCERAM names; and GD-FHT, a glass disk for use in flying height testers. It also provides LICGC SP-01 membranes; LICGC PW 01 powders; i-line high homogeneity glass and non-browning glass products; and fiber glasses for light guide. Ohara Inc. was founded in 1935 and is headquartered in Sagamihara, Japan.
