Established in 2012 and headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, Nippon Light Metal Holdings Company, Ltd. is an international manufacturer and supplier of aluminum and related goods. The company's operations are strategically structured into four main divisions. The Alumina, Chemicals, and Ingot segment provides essential materials such as aluminum hydroxide, alumina, and a variety of other chemicals, which are utilized as fire retardants, raw materials for ceramics, and industrial inputs for the pulp and paper industries. This division also produces aluminum ingots. The Sheet and Extruded Products segment offers aluminum sheets and custom extrusion products. These are integral components for automotive parts, railway cars, thick sheets and related elements for semiconductor and liquid-crystal manufacturing equipment, and fabricated sheets designed for PC and tablet casings within the electrical and electronics sector. The Fabricated Products and Other segment encompasses the production of truck bodies, panels for commercial refrigerators and freezers, and aluminum components for infrastructure projects, including civil engineering and construction applications. Additionally, this division manufactures anodized aluminum foil, which is crucial for aluminum electrolytic capacitors, various automotive parts, and carbon products. Finally, the Aluminum Foil, Powder and Paste segment develops packaging materials for the food and medical industries, specialized products for electronics, and diverse aluminum powder and paste formulations. Nippon Light Metal Holdings' extensive product portfolio caters to a wide array of markets, including automotive; electrical machinery, electronics, and telecommunications; environment, safety, and energy; public facilities, landscaping, and architecture; transportation; food and health; and general industrial products.
