Gallant Venture Ltd., an investment holding firm incorporated in Singapore in 2003, functions as an independent provider of essential services primarily within Indonesia. The company's diverse operations are structured across four main segments: Industrial Parks, Utilities, Resort Operations, and Property Development. The Industrial Parks division is responsible for the full lifecycle of industrial properties on Batam and Bintan Islands, encompassing development, construction, ongoing operation, and maintenance, along with crucial supporting infrastructure. Complementing this, the Utilities segment supplies vital services like electricity, water, telecommunications, and waste and sewage treatment to both industrial parks and resort areas on these islands. Its substantial power generation assets comprise 19 dual-fuel generators with an approximate 130MW capacity at Batamindo Industrial Park, 6 generators providing around 24MW at Bintan Industrial Estate, and 4 generators generating roughly 20MW at Bintan Resorts. Through its Resort Operations, Gallant Venture supports resort businesses within Bintan Resort by offering a comprehensive array of services. These include ferry transportation and terminal management, tour organization, property leasing, accommodation for workers, security, firefighting, medical assistance, and general estate and township upkeep, in addition to other necessary operational facilities. Finally, the Property Development segment focuses on creating industrial and resort properties across Batam and Bintan Islands. This segment also extends its offerings to include business management consultancy and the wholesale of hotels, resorts, and golf courses.

A stock is a fraction of ownership in a real company. Buy one share and you own a piece (usually a tiny piece) of every desk, factory, contract and brand the company runs. The price moves because the market keeps revising what that whole pie is worth.
The price-to-earnings ratio is how much investors are paying for one dollar of a company's profit. A multiple, never an absolute. Always compared to something: a sector, a region, the company's own past.
Dividend yield is the annual income a stock or ETF pays out, expressed as a percentage of what you paid for it. It is the visible part of total return: the cash that lands in your account every quarter, and the lever most retail investors actually feel.
Market cap is shares times price. A simple formula that produces wildly unequal numbers: a single US tech name can be worth more than every company on a LATAM exchange combined.
