Its diverse operations further include managing municipal road infrastructure, agricultural development initiatives, payment processing, asset management, and offering financial advisory services. The company boasts significant assets, including approximately 6,867 kilometers of natural gas pipelines and a fleet of 1,000 operational vehicles. Founded in 1991, the enterprise was initially named Shanghai Pudong Dazhong Taxi Co., Ltd. before adopting its current identity, Shanghai Dazhong Public Utilities (Group) Co., Ltd., in May 2003.
