Beyond its core sewing machine business, the company also produces and distributes industrial automation equipment, including servo presses, tabletop robots, SCARA robots, and Cartesian robots, alongside specialized 24-hour bath products. Additionally, Janome supplies educational materials for schools and operates a network of 79 retail stores dedicated to sewing machines. The company underwent a name change from Janome Sewing Machine Co., Ltd. to JANOME Corporation in October 2021.
