Further, it develops drive-control software systems for motor control of direct drive actuator modules and embodied joint modules, motion-control systems for movement coordination of robots, and the direct drive delivery platform, a delivery and logistics software system. The company serves consumer, commercial, industrial, and research customers. Direct Drive Tech Limited was formerly known as Dongguan Direct Drive Technology Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Direct Drive Tech Limited in December 2025. Direct Drive Tech Limited was founded in 2020 and is headquartered in Beijing, China.
