Furthermore, SCREEN is active in diverse fields, providing biosciences equipment, compact inkjet printing systems for tablets, UV inkjet printing systems for aluminum rolls, and other specialized inkjet systems. They also contribute with in-vehicle components for inspection and measurement purposes, and are involved with lithium-ion rechargeable batteries and fuel cells. Their service portfolio includes contract manufacturing and support, as well as intellectual property-related operations. Established in 1943 and headquartered in Kyoto, Japan, the company was previously known as Dainippon Screen Mfg. Co., Ltd. before rebranding to SCREEN Holdings Co., Ltd. in October 2014.
