Bharat Gears Limited, an Indian company established in Mumbai in 1971, operates as a global producer and distributor of automotive power transmission components and industrial heat treatment equipment. The firm extends its reach beyond India, supplying markets in the United States, Mexico, Spain, and other international locations. Its business is structured into three distinct divisions: Gears, Automotive Components, and Furnaces. Within the Gears segment, Bharat Gears provides a range of products including ring gears and pinions, transmission gears and shafts, differential gears, and entire gearbox assemblies. These gear solutions are designed for a variety of vehicles, such as utility vehicles, tractors, off-highway machinery, and a spectrum of light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks. The Automotive Components division offers an extensive catalog of parts, including crown wheel pinions, transmission gears, straight bevel components, steering system elements, flywheel assemblies and rings, axle shafts, and diverse clutch parts (such as ceramic buttons, cover assemblies, and lever and spring kits). This segment also supplies differential cages, propeller shaft components, crankshafts, and turbocharger kits, along with their core and rotor products. Finally, the Furnaces segment manufactures specialized heat treatment systems and equipment. This includes endothermic gas generators, rotary hearth atmosphere hardening systems, various conveyor and pusher type furnace lines, sealed quench furnace lines, and continuous pusher gas carburizing furnaces. Bharat Gears primarily caters to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

A stock is a fraction of ownership in a real company. Buy one share and you own a piece (usually a tiny piece) of every desk, factory, contract and brand the company runs. The price moves because the market keeps revising what that whole pie is worth.
The price-to-earnings ratio is how much investors are paying for one dollar of a company's profit. A multiple, never an absolute. Always compared to something: a sector, a region, the company's own past.
Dividend yield is the annual income a stock or ETF pays out, expressed as a percentage of what you paid for it. It is the visible part of total return: the cash that lands in your account every quarter, and the lever most retail investors actually feel.
Market cap is shares times price. A simple formula that produces wildly unequal numbers: a single US tech name can be worth more than every company on a LATAM exchange combined.
