Its operations span multiple key segments including hydrocarbon refining, fuel marketing, oil and gas exploration and production, petrochemicals, and power generation. The company's core business encompasses the refining, supply, and commercialization of petroleum products, alongside the retail and wholesale distribution of various fuels. It is actively involved in the discovery and extraction of oil and gas, the manufacture and sale of petrochemicals, and the generation and trading of electricity. It is also involved in constructing and operating fuel storage facilities and crude oil pipelines, offering treasury, consulting, and engineering services, and providing financing. In Greece, the company maintains a substantial infrastructure network, featuring 1,682 service stations, 15 fuel storage and distribution hubs, 24 airport refueling points, 2 LPG bottling plants, and a lubricant manufacturing and packaging facility. Founded in 1998, the company was previously known as Hellenic Petroleum Holdings Societe Anonyme before adopting its current name, HELLENiQ ENERGY Holdings S.A., in September 2022. Its corporate headquarters are located in Marousi, Greece.
