Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) is an Indian company primarily engaged in the fabrication of naval vessels. They provide a comprehensive range of maritime platforms to the Indian Navy, the Indian Coast Guard, and various other national governments. Their extensive portfolio includes major combat ships such as frigates, anti-submarine warfare (ASW) corvettes, and missile corvettes, alongside logistical support vessels like landing ship tanks, landing craft utilities, and fleet replenishment tankers. Additionally, GRSE constructs specialized craft, including survey vessels, various patrol boats (fast, offshore, and inshore), water jet fast attack craft, hovercrafts, and rapid interceptor boats. Beyond shipbuilding, the company also manufactures a diverse array of marine engineering equipment. This encompasses portable bridges and a wide selection of deck machinery, such as different types of marine and naval pumps, anchor and mooring capstans, anchor windlasses, and various davits (for general purposes, ammunition, boat-launching, survey, and hydrographic operations). They further produce electro-hydraulic deck cranes, oceanographic winches, specialized anchor-cum-general purpose winches for beaching, telescopic hangars, and helicopter traversing systems. Furthermore, GRSE offers services in the testing and refurbishment of marine propulsion engines, in addition to assembling semi-knocked-down (SKD) units of diesel engines.
