Its offerings span voice and data services, supported by 2G, 3G, and 4G technologies, along with broadband access. Beyond core mobile services, the company extends its portfolio to include content, digital, and Internet of Things (IoT) services, as well as various value-added services such as entertainment, voice/SMS-based utilities, and other functionalities. The enterprise also furnishes long-distance communication and Internet Service Provider (ISP) capabilities, passive and fiber infrastructure provisions, workforce solutions, and specialized business and corporate services. Originally incorporated in 1995 as Idea Cellular Limited, the company adopted its current name, Vodafone Idea Limited, in August 2018. Its corporate headquarters are situated in Mumbai, India.
