Lindab distributes its products via approximately 128 company branches, in partnership with building contractors, and through retail channels. The company primarily serves the Nordic countries, Western Europe, Switzerland, Central and Eastern Europe/the Commonwealth of Independent States, and other international markets. Established in 1959, the company adopted its current name in May 2006, having previously operated as Lindab Intressenter AB. Its corporate headquarters are situated in Bastad, Sweden.
