Indo National Limited, an Indian enterprise founded in 1972 and headquartered in Chennai, specializes in the production and nationwide distribution of a diverse range of dry cell batteries and illumination products through its subsidiaries. The company's battery portfolio includes widely used AA, AAA, C, D, alkaline, and 9V cells. Its lighting division offers an extensive selection, from torches and emergency power backup devices to various LED solutions such as square downlights, rechargeable bulbs, pulsar linear lights, headlamps, tubelights, standard bulbs, floodlights, and grid-based street lights. Beyond these core offerings, Indo National also markets mosquito bats, DORCO branded razors and blades, electrical accessories, and other fast-moving consumer goods. The company adopted its current name, Indo National Limited, in April 2013, having previously operated as Nippo Batteries Co. Ltd.
