Beyond core banking, the company's activities extend to portfolio, yachting, shopping center, property, and real estate management services. It also operates an insurance agency, engages in land and real estate development and construction, trades boat vehicles, cars, and equipment, and handles real estate purchases, sales, and rentals. Advisory, hotel and training, financial, telecommunication, and information technology services further diversify its business. Founded in 1916 and originally known as Piraeus Bank S.A., the company maintains its headquarters in Athens, Greece.
