Additionally, it is responsible for the production, importation, and sale of several iconic Diageo labels, including Haig Gold Label, Captain Morgan, Johnnie Walker, J&B, Baileys, Lagavulin, Talisker, VAT 69, Black & White, Smirnoff, and Ciroc. Beyond its core spirits business, United Spirits holds perpetual rights to the Bangalore franchise of the Board of Control for Cricket in India's Indian Premier League. The company also exports its offerings worldwide. Founded in 1826 and headquartered in Bengaluru, India, the firm was formerly known as McDowell & Company Limited before rebranding to United Spirits Limited in October 2006. It currently operates as a subsidiary of Relay B.V.
