Atlas Lithium Corporation announced on October 6, 2026, that critical pre-assembly steps are underway for its modular dense media separation (DMS) lithium processing plant at the Neves Project in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The plant is fully permitted for installation and operation, completely paid for, and already delivered to Brazil.

Atlas Lithium engineering teams are working with contractor Alfa Engenharia and the South African engineering company that designed the facility. The teams are sorting components into delivery packages and organizing the assembly sequence following trial assembly in South Africa.

The facility is designed to initially produce approximately 146,000 tonnes of lithium concentrate per year. Atlas Lithium noted that written product interest from large companies exceeds its planned output. The plant features 100% dry-stacked tailings to eliminate the need for a tailings dam and is engineered to recycle roughly 95% of its process water.

Atlas Lithium owns 100% of the Neves Project, which has a Definitive Feasibility Study outlining a 145% internal rate of return and an 11-month payback period. The company controls roughly 557 square kilometers of mineral rights in Brazil and holds an approximate 20% stake in Atlas Critical Minerals Corporation.
