The Brazilian stock exchange operator gives the retailer until late 2027 to meet listing rules.
B3 S.A. has granted an extension of 1 year for Guararapes Confecções to comply with the minimum free float requirement on its exchange.
Under the decision, the retailer has until 31 December 2027 to adapt to the governance standard. Standard Novo Mercado rules require a minimum free float of 20.0%, or an alternative threshold of 15.0% for companies with a minimum average daily trading volume of 20.0 million BRL.
Guararapes previously considered a potential primary follow-on offering of 400.0 million BRL, but suspended the plan in early 2026.
The company reported net income of 168.0 million BRL in the second quarter of 2026, an increase of 36.2% year over year. Adjusted EBITDA reached 461.0 million BRL during the same quarter, up 12.7% compared with the prior year period.
