BBVA Spark agrees MXN 1,000 million facility for Galgo
The financing will support motorcycle loans across Mexico as the startup expands in Latin America.
BBVA Spark, the innovation and high-growth business unit of BBVA, agreed on September 28, 2026, to provide a credit line of MXN 1,000 million to mobility fintech Galgo. The funding aims to accelerate motorcycle financing in Mexico.
In Mexico, Galgo has financed 40,000 people since launching operations and currently finances 3,500 motorcycles per month. According to company surveys, 80% of its customers previously lacked access to similar financing options.
Across Latin America, Galgo operates in 3 countries, where it has reached 200,000 financed individuals through a network of 1,500 partner stores. The platform finances 7,500 motorcycles monthly in the region and reported annual revenue and business growth of 50% for 2026.
