The asset manager leverages artificial intelligence to help advisers customize portfolios across expanding capital markets.
BlackRock is expanding its relationship with artificial intelligence firm Anthropic to assist financial advisers in navigating complex capital markets. Jaime Magyera, senior managing director and head of US Wealth and head of Retirement at BlackRock, confirmed the deepening collaboration on 15 September 2026.
Magyera explained that advisers are increasingly turning to AI to save time on administrative work and deliver more strategic portfolio customization for their clients. BlackRock currently works with 55,000 advisers who rely on its asset allocation models and custom solutions, managing 300 billion dollars in assets on behalf of adviser clients.
The company views artificial intelligence as an efficiency tool rather than a replacement for human financial professionals. According to Magyera, BlackRock aims to integrate its portfolio intelligence across multiple technology platforms, supporting advisers as they construct portfolios that incorporate public markets, private credit, and infrastructure.
