The investor announced a three-to-five-year commitment following the company's US$15 million debut.
Investor Chris Gardner announced at the Credicorp Capital Investor Conference 2026 in Bogotá that he has joined the board of directors of Santiago-based Ticketplus Ltd. as an independent director. Gardner said his goal is to help expand awareness of the ticketing company, adding that he is committed to the business for three to five years.
Ticketplus was founded by Chien-Fu Chen and Joaquín Jadue, and is controlled by Yethro Dinamarca. The firm debuted on NYSE American on August 7, 2026, after raising US$15 million, reaching a valuation of US$97 million at its offering price. The company operates direct ticketing sales in Chile and licenses its technology internationally for third parties to sell tickets under their own brands.
In the first half of the year, Ticketplus reported revenue of US$22.8 million, an increase of 68% year over year. Its net profit reached US$4.1 million during the same period, more than double the amount recorded a year earlier.
