The Argentine agricultural group posted net income of ARS 372,280 million backed by record grain harvest and stronger urban segment earnings.
Cresud reported net income of ARS 372,280 million for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026. That compares with a gain of ARS 299,635 million in the previous fiscal year. As of June 30, 2026, the company held a market capitalization of approximately USD 795.1 million, based on 70,930,830 ADS priced at USD 11.21 each.
Adjusted EBITDA for the agribusiness segments stood at ARS 17,812 million. The Urban Properties and Investments segment, operated through IRSA, generated ARS 291,055 million. The company planted 314,000 hectares across the region, an increase of roughly 5%, and produced over one million tons of grain. Argentina saw record wheat production and strong soybean and corn yields, while BrasilAgro faced operational issues, fires, and adverse weather in sugarcane.
Livestock activity reached record levels of cattle production, prices, and margins, driven by investments in feedlots and infrastructure. In real estate, BrasilAgro agreed to sell a 921-hectare tract of the Morotí farm in Paraguay for USD 1.5 million, with 372 hectares valued at approximately USD 0.6 million recognized by fiscal year-end.
On the financial side, Cresud issued about USD 256 million in notes to extend maturities and lower financing costs. The firm also completed its 2021 warrant program and distributed ARS 93,800 million in dividends, delivering an approximate dividend yield of 8%.
