Eni announced a 20% discount net of VAT on diesel and gasoline for the agricultural and fishing sectors. The price relief is delivered through its Enilive business as part of the broader Eni for Italy program.

The company stated that the reduced fuel rates will stay in place until the end of the month. Depending on market conditions and product availability, Eni may extend the measure through the end of this year.

The relief follows earlier steps under the same initiative to cushion higher energy costs in Italy. Eni previously capped prices at participating Enilive stations at €2.19 per litre for diesel and €1.99 per litre for petrol, alongside a 30% discount on electricity and natural gas rates for households through its retail division, Plenitude.

Eni stated that the fuel discounts are aimed at supporting two strategic sectors that remain highly exposed to energy cost volatility, while helping the Italian government ease price pressures on consumers.
