Globant and LALIGA launch AI platform for Mexican soccer
The alliance introduces Sportian Performance to clubs and national teams.
Globant and Spanish soccer league LALIGA announced a strategic alliance to introduce artificial intelligence tools to Mexican soccer. The partnership centres on the rollout of the Sportian Performance platform, which provides elite sports technology to local clubs and national teams.
The platform is designed to give coaching staff, athletes, and executives real-time data monitoring and deep performance analytics. The initiative aims to provide access to smaller clubs that lack the resources to implement standalone advanced tech infrastructure.
Sportian Performance will also use biometric data and predictive analysis to manage player workloads and help prevent injuries. The organisations plan to expand the platform from Mexico to other leagues across Latin America over time.
