Brazil's insurance regulator Susep cleared two subsidiaries to start operations.
IRB Brasil Resseguros secured regulatory approval to begin operations at two new insurance subsidiaries. The company confirmed the decision in a market filing with the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission on 10 September 2026.
The Superintendency of Private Insurance, known as Susep, granted the final authorisation on 9 September 2026. The approval allows the two new entities to officially start their insurance activities under the group.
Following the news on the morning of 10 September 2026, ordinary shares of IRB traded at BRL 60.81 on the B3 exchange. That price marked an intraday decline of 0.23% in early trading.
