The service pairs AI meal plans with ingredient delivery and robotic preparation in Chinese cities.
JD.com introduced CHEFRESH on September 22, 2026, an integrated home food service that combines artificial intelligence meal planning, grocery delivery, and an automated cooking robot. The platform uses Health Brain AI, powered by JD.com's JoyInside software and hardware system, to convert personal health check reports and dietary preferences into daily meal plans.
Under the new offering, ingredients are selected, cleaned, portioned, and delivered through JD.com's fresh food cold-chain network. At home, an intelligent robot handles cooking, seasoning, and self-cleaning. A special edition of the system also allows users to digitally record and reproduce family recipes, tracking ingredient ratios, cooking temperatures, and heat control.
Pre-orders have opened in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and other cities, with deliveries scheduled progressively based on reservation timing. Alongside the rollout, CHEFRESH announced partnerships with Raffles Hospital, the UK Butler Guide, and AI company OriginX to integrate healthcare management, household services, and kitchen hardware.
