Marcopolo expects the Argentine bus market to begin recovering in 2027. On 9 September 2026, CEO André Armaganijan and CFO Pablo Motta presented the outlook during an investor presentation. Company leadership noted that bus fleet renewal in Argentina has lagged below its historical average since 2018.
The Argentine market generated 875.4 million BRL in net revenue for Marcopolo in 2025. In the first half of 2026, net revenue from Argentina stood at 212.1 million BRL. Looking at other international operations, the company reported 21 units of its G8 bus sold for the European market.
Preferred shares of Marcopolo fell 2.5% on 9 September 2026 to close at 4.20 BRL. That drop brought the year-to-date decline for the stock to 20%. Despite the decline, Banco Safra set a 12-month price target of 9.10 BRL, while Bradesco BBI established a 12-month price target of 8.00 BRL.
