The issuance across four series will back agribusiness receivables certificates maturing up to 2056.
MBRF, the owner of the Sadia, Perdigão and Qualy brands, completed the settlement of its 10th debenture issuance totaling 825 million reais. The transaction was structured in four series for private placement with ECO Securitizadora de Direitos Creditórios do Agronegócio.
The securitization firm acquired the debentures as part of its 466th issuance of agribusiness receivables certificates (CRAs), also divided into four series. These securities will be distributed publicly to qualified investors under Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) rules.
Investors subscribed to a total of 825,000 debentures with a nominal value of 1,000 reais each. The issue allocated 316,522 debentures to the first series, 309,320 to the second, 17,776 to the third, and 181,382 to the fourth series.
Maturities range from 2031 to 2056. The first series matures on March 14, 2031, the second on September 14, 2033, the third on September 12, 2036, and the longest fourth series on September 14, 2056.
According to the company, the transaction aligns with its strategy to lengthen its local-currency debt profile and optimize the balance between maturity and financing costs.
