Northrop Grumman secured a $66 million delivery order for engineering retrofits, materials and spares for fielded MQ-4C Triton unmanned aircraft systems. The work will support intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities for the United States and international allies.

The award covers 17 engineering change proposals for the U.S. Navy and 16 for the Royal Australian Air Force. The program aims to improve fleet standardization and mission readiness, with completion expected by June 2030. The high-altitude, long-endurance MQ-4C Triton provides persistent maritime surveillance over extended periods.

The contract underscores recurring sustainment and modernization opportunities across deployed unmanned systems. Rising interest in persistent surveillance also touches peers in autonomous systems, such as AeroVironment and Kratos Defense.

Shares of Northrop Grumman have dropped 13.2% over the past three months, compared with a 14.7% decline for its industry. The stock trades at a forward 12-month price-to-sales ratio of 1.46X, below the industry average of 2.12X. Zacks Consensus Estimates for the company's 2026 and 2027 earnings have remained unchanged over the past 60 days.
