The free program connects participants with about 25 investment funds searching for unicorns.
Nvidia has integrated 170 Mexican startups into its global Inception program to accelerate artificial intelligence adoption, according to an interview published on 16 September by EL CEO. Marcio Aguiar, director of the Enterprise division for Nvidia in Latin America, explained that the initiative provides free access to computing platforms and tailored training without requiring a commercial contract.
While Inception includes 23,000 startups worldwide, its footprint in Mexico is just beginning to expand across industries such as automotive, entertainment, and logistics. Aguiar noted that around 25 investment funds in Mexico are monitoring companies in the program to evaluate potential investments and identify emerging unicorns.
To qualify for Inception, a startup must work with AI techniques, be formally incorporated in its country, and have existed for less than 10 years. There is no minimum revenue requirement for applicants.
Participating companies have already deployed Nvidia hardware and architectures to optimize operations. Retail analytics firm Batech AI reduced customer onboarding time by 60% using Nvidia technology, according to CEO Luciano Palla, while logistics startup OTIF leverages Nvidia H-100 platforms to forecast delivery schedules and select transit routes.
