The voice-driven software integrates into electronic health records to reduce manual documentation.
Oracle announced the U.S. availability of Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent for nurses on 14 September 2026. The tool is designed to reduce documentation workloads and streamline care coordination in inpatient hospital settings.
The capabilities are embedded directly into Oracle Health Foundation EHR. The system combines voice-driven chart navigation and search, artificial intelligence summaries of acute nursing care, and voice-enabled charting to document patient information in near real time.
Seema Verma, executive vice president and general manager of Oracle Health and Life Sciences, stated that the agent provides quicker access to patient records and enables voice documentation at the point of care to lessen manual tasks.
The expansion follows the initial rollout of Oracle's clinical note capabilities nearly two years ago. Oracle stated that the earlier system has saved physicians more than 400,000 hours across healthcare organizations in the United States.
