The annualized payout reaches $6.40 per share with payment set for 26 October.
The Board of Directors of Philip Morris International increased the company's regular quarterly dividend by 8.8% on 18 September 2026. The new payment is $1.60 per share, up from $1.47 per share, which brings the annualized rate to $6.40 per share.
The quarterly dividend will be paid on 26 October 2026 to shareholders of record as of 2 October 2026. The ex-dividend date is also 2 October 2026.
Philip Morris has raised its annual dividend every year since it became a public company in 2008. That track record represents a total dividend increase of 248%, or a compound annual growth rate of 7.2%.
The company also reported that its smoke-free business generated approximately 42% of total net revenues in the second quarter of 2026. Since 2008, Philip Morris has invested more than $16 billion in smoke-free products, which were used by over 43 million legal-age consumers across more than 105 markets as of 31 December 2025.
