The company partnered with BPO firm Outsourcing to roll out its conversational AI platform across the region.
SoundHound AI has chosen Colombia as its regional operating hub through a strategic alliance with local business process outsourcing firm Outsourcing. The deal includes a direct capital investment by SoundHound. Under the agreement, DipDig, the digital services unit of Outsourcing, will commercialise and operate SoundHound's conversational AI platform, Oasys, in Colombia and across Latin America.
Outsourcing brings more than 30 years of operating history and serves clients across approximately 20 countries from its headquarters in Colombia. Keyvan Mohajer, CEO of SoundHound, stated that the company will commit resources directly through this alliance rather than opening an office under its own name, uniting SoundHound's software with the partner's customer base and workforce.
Mohajer noted that SoundHound's AI model achieves over 95% accuracy, which is 10% higher than human benchmarks. The Oasys platform, which has been tested for about a year, can configure custom client setups within minutes instead of weeks or months. During customer calls, the system consults human supervisors in seconds when complex issues arise instead of transferring the caller away.
