The alliance will develop driving systems for Peugeot and Jeep models launching in 2027.
Stellantis' joint venture with Dongfeng, Dongfeng Stellantis Automotive Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd., has formed a strategic partnership with autonomous driving company Momenta. The companies officially signed and announced the alliance to co-develop intelligent driving technology for Peugeot and Jeep vehicles.
Under the agreement, the co-developed models are scheduled for commercial market launch starting in 2027. The project aims to bring advanced driver assistance systems to upcoming vehicles produced under the joint venture.
Momenta currently has its driver-assistance software installed on 1.2 million vehicles on the road as of September 2026. The partners did not disclose financial terms, licensing fees, or specific car models for the collaboration.
