New customer wins include a seven-figure contract with Car Finance 247 as shares rise 70.8% year to date
Twilio raised its full-year 2026 organic revenue growth forecast to a range of 13% to 13.5% on 16 September 2026, driven by expanding adoption of its artificial intelligence platform. The tool combines Conversation Memory, Conversation Orchestrator, Conversation Intelligence, and Agent Connect to link AI agents with corporate customer communication channels.
Among recent customer additions, Car Finance 247 signed a seven-figure contract for Twilio's conversation layer. Its assistant, Carla, processed about 288,000 interactions and converted leads to approvals at roughly 1.6 times the rate of non-users, generating a multi-million-pound annual revenue gain. Twilio also secured deals with Vozzi, Olo, and Atlassian, which uses the infrastructure for automated customer support.
In the second quarter of 2026, Twilio's revenue climbed 22% year over year to $1.50 billion, with organic growth reaching 17%. Non-GAAP operating income advanced 29% to $284.6 million, free cash flow grew 34% to $352.6 million, and the dollar-based net expansion rate rose to 116% from 108% a year earlier. The Zacks Consensus Estimate projects full-year 2026 revenue of $5.96 billion, representing 17.7% annual growth, with earnings expected to rise 20.3% in 2026 and 14.1% in 2027.
Twilio faces competition in AI communication from Bandwidth, which reported second-quarter revenue of $220 million, and RingCentral, which posted $657 million. Twilio stock has gained 70.8% year to date, compared with a 2.9% rise for its industry peer group, and trades at a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 37.42 against an industry average of 28.78.
