The partnership marks the largest single retailer expansion for Uber Eats in the United States.
On 16 September 2026, Uber Technologies announced the expansion of its delivery partnership with Costco Wholesale. The service now covers 47 U.S. states and nearly 600 warehouse locations.
The company described this move as the broadest single retailer expansion for Uber Eats in the United States. Deliveries through the platform will feature dedicated membership perks along with gift card benefits aimed specifically at Costco members.
The broadened rollout strengthens Uber's grocery delivery footprint as it competes against rivals DoorDash and Instacart. Uber Technologies is currently valued at about $145.9b.
Analysts note that lower-margin grocery baskets and promotional tiers can pressure profitability. The alliance tests whether advertising and cross-platform perks, including its Uber One membership, can offset the margin drag from bulk grocery deliveries.
