Furthermore, it facilitates spot Turkish Lira and foreign currency transactions, issues letters of guarantee, and manages overdraft facilities. In addition to a variety of card products, the institution offers an extensive portfolio of insurance solutions, including coverage for automobiles, liability, health, unemployment, life, homeowners, personal accident, commercial property, fire, freight, engineering risks, and agricultural ventures, alongside various pension schemes. Its investment services encompass mutual funds, government securities (T-bills and bonds), Eurobonds, repurchase agreements (repos), equity trading, dual currency deposit options, access to the Turkish derivatives market, e-trader platforms, forward contracts, and tax-related services. The bank also delivers cash management solutions and tailored products for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), including support packages, foreign trade financing, and regulatory assistance. Moreover, its comprehensive suite of services extends to leasing, fleet management, factoring, investment and private banking, various payment solutions, safe deposit boxes, and modern digital banking channels like internet and mobile/SMS banking. Established in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1946, Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. is headquartered in the same city. As of December 31, 2021, the bank's operational network comprised 872 branches and 5,401 automated teller machines (ATMs). Since May 18, 2022, it has operated as a subsidiary of Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A.
